Matt is a senior biology major from Bluefield, WV. He is the proud son of Joe and Angel James. Matt has been involved in Student Government for four years. As a Senator for the College of Science, Matt served as Judiciary Chairman, Community Service Chairman, President Pro-Tempore, and is now Student Body President. Matt has also been very active in his fraternity, Alpha Sigma Phi, for the past four years. As President of the fraternity, Matt released his chapter from national debt, saved the chapter house, and more than doubled the chapter’s size in just one year. His other activities include: the Judicial Affairs Board,Omicron Delta Kappa honor society, and Marshall University Student Ambassadors.

Sean is the son of Moses (late) and Patricia Hornbuckle. Born and raised in Huntington, West Virginia, Sean graduated from Huntington High in 2003 with very high honors while also lettering in basketball and football. During the past few years Sean has enjoyed much success at the collegiate level. In addition to being a Marshall University Student Ambassador and Outstanding Black Scholar, Sean was a recipient of many awards and honors including the Bob Barnett Scholarship, Promise Scholarship, National Dean’s List, Keith-Albee Scholarship to name a few while also staying active in a host of other clubs and organizations. Among those organizations was Student Government in which he was on the executive staff as the Multicultural Affairs Director, and then Chief of Staff/Athletic Liaison leading up to this year.. In the spring of 2007, he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s in Sports Management and Marketing. Currently, he is working on his Masters of Business Administration.

Morganna is a senior double majoring in Health Care Administration and Marketing from Williamstown, WV. She was first involved in Marshall University Student Government as a senator for the school of Health professions and then as a senator for the Lewis College of Business. She currently is a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority where she serves as the vice president of philanthropy. Also, she is a member of the faculty safety committee, student welfare and conduct committee and a member of the American College of Health Care Executives. Morganna plans on attending law school upon graduation.

Selina Most is a Senior Business/Marketing major from Fort Ashby, West Virginia. Selina has been active in the Student Government Association as a Senator for the Lewis College of Business for the past four years. During her time in SGA she served as Campus Life Chair and was a candidate for student body vice-president. She has participated on campus by being a peer mediator for UNI 101 class and DECA..

Cat is a senior Political Science and English major from Shepherdstown, WV. She has been involved in Marshall University's Student Government for the past two years, originally serving as a Senator for College of Liberal Arts. Currently, she is a Student Ambassador and has held the position of treasurer and secretary for that group. She is also a Presidential scholar, and a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science fraternity. She hopes to attend law school after graduation.

Tim is a senior Political Science and Spanish major from Huntington, WV. He has been involved in Marshall University's Student Government for the past two years, originally serving as a Senator for College of Liberal Arts. Currently, he is a Student Ambassador and has held the position of secretary and is now serving as Vice-President for that group. Tim is also a member of Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science fraternity, Gamma Beta Phi, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. He hopes to attend law school after graduation.

Halima is currently a Junior Biochemistry Major and a John Marshall Scholar. In addition to her academic responsibilities, Halima maintains an active presence on campus. As the Multicultural Affairs Liaison, this is Halima’s second year as a member of the SGA. She is also a member of the Biology Club as the secretary, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and the Honors Program.

Josh is a fifth-year senior at Marshall, who is currently majoring in both marketing and managment and will graduate in the spring of 2009. Josh is originally from Culloden, West Virginia and attended Cabell Midland High School. Along with Student Government, Josh is also involved in his fraternity, Kappa Alpha Order; Marshall's Interfraternity Council; and Alpha Kappa Psi. Following graduation, Josh plans to attend graduate school where he hopes to achieve a MBA.

Michael Wright is a junior Public Relations major from Mechanicsville, VA. Michael is currently spending his first year on the executive staff in Marshall University's Student Government. Michael is a brother of Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity, where he has held executive offices and served over 250 community service hours. Michael is spending his third year on the Marshall University cheerleading team and is a firm believer that he "bleeds green". Michael is also a member of the Marshall Maniacs and University Chorus.
